Description:
Polarization maintaining fiber alignment coupling system, is a set of coupling alignment equipment for rapid coupling of Polarization maintaining fiber for optical performance testing. The equipment is designed in a simple, two-step process to complete the coupling prior to testing. The equipment uses alignment of the shaft first, followed by V-slot alignment, and then optical performance testing. The instrumentation and equipment for optical performance testing is not included in the Polarization maintaining fiber alignment coupling system.
 

Key features:
1.The test equipment connection end is preset as a fixed end, the end under test is easily repeatable;
2.Polarization maintaining fiber with cut ends ready for use without grinding and polishing;
3.Visualisation for effective management of insertion loss of less than 0.3dB (0.5dB) during docking;
4.100X to 800X magnification for clear imaging of the fibre end-face;
5.Adjustable design of internal and external light sources and precision V-slots, effectively improving the alignment of the panda eye with the fibre cladding;

Peel off the coating layer → Loading of fiber into single core fiber clips → Cutting the fiber to length → Single core fiber clamps into alignment platform → Open the single-core fiber clamp to the shaft → Closing the single fiber clamp → Loading the V-slot coupling aligner → The other coupling end completes the previous 7 steps → Coupling alignment Optical performance test
